Today I brought in my vacuum sealer to see if we could replicate a Science experiment we saw online yesterday about air pressure, and how decreasing the air pressure affects marshmallows.  It did work, but not as well as we had hoped, so we will try again next week.

We started Unit 4 in Math today. I sent home a Family Letter to tell you about what we will be studying.

Homework:

Reading: read 20 minutes, get pamphlets to bring into class.

Other: Winter Clothing, Dentist slips due 1-22

 I will be gone Monday and Tuesday for my grandma's funeral.  Please discuss behavior for Guest Teachers with your child. We have a sub that the class behaved for before, so I am hoping that will make a difference!
